MY STORY

My love of sewing started at my Mother's sewing machine - a childhood fascination that grew into a lifelong passion for fabric, craft and beautiful interiors.

I studied fashion and Textiles at Birmingham Uni before training in Theatre Costume at The London College of Fashion, where I developed my technical skills. I then worked for Angels and Berman - one of the world's largest costumiers at the time. 

After starting a family I returned to work, for a leading Interiors Company, where I mastered the traditional techniques of hand-making curtains and blinds to a professional standard. 

When I set up Indiana Rose Interiors, over 15 years ago, I brought everything I had learned into creating a successful company making exceptional Bespoke Soft furnishings.

Today I work as an independent freelance curtain maker, serving clients across Berkshire, Oxfordshire and London, from a single pair of hand made curtains to a full house of bespoke window dressings

Every Curtain, Blind and Soft Furnishing is Hand Made by me personally. No outsourcing. Just beautifully made, perfectly fitted Window Treatments.

I also recently Completed a Level 3 Diploma in Interior Design
